Great for college kids!,
I bought this product almost a yr ago. Its great for cooking in the dorms where your only appliance is a microwave. I couldnt eat the dorm food and this allowed me to cook pasta in my room. I wish i hadnt lost my package insert, that told me the cooking times for everything, so if anyone else goes out and buys this, do us all a favor and post it, eh? I liked that it gave cooking times for steaming veggies, pasta and rice; I LOVED how easy it was to clean. This is a MUST for any one going away to school, and makes a GREAT graduation gift.

I love this thing and have used one or more for the past 12 years. I have 4!!
The secret to great rice is enough water but not too much water.
1 cup of rice
then cover with enough water so that when you stick your finger into the water and touch the rice, the water is only up to your first knuckle.
Place in 1200 watt micro for 13 minutes. When timer goes off remove and allow to stand…it’s still steaming) For about 5 mins… then open and fluff with fork.
This will make about 3 cups of rice.
FORGET Microwave PASTA… Microwaved pasta doesn’t work because pasta NEEDS to move in the water in order to keep it from sticking!
However… steam veggies of all kinds! Steam fish, shrimp, shellfish… (I save one just for this purpose) Chicken too.
Try steaming cut up potatoes in broth with some garlic added then mash for a tasty treat.

There are very few products for which I will give a five star recommendation. This is one of the few. I received this cooker many years ago as a gift and did not use it at first. Let me preface this by saying I am a huge fan of the Japanese sticky rice and it is very difficult to find a device that will cook it well. This little microwave pot does it exactly right. I have steamed vegetables in it, cooked pasta, and of course loads of sticky rice. If you follow the instructions, you really can’t screw up with this one. I did learn to set my microwave at 70-80% before cooking or the rice would boil over and leave a sticky mess in the microwave. Definately a must have for any kitchen that needs fast, healthy meals m/ a microwave.

|Great book about an under served area of trading,
There are tons of books about trading. A lot of them are very good. But most seem to focus completely on entry and exit rules. That is important, but there are many, many other things the trader who wants to make money (consistently) needs to consider. This book covers a lot of those, and gives some considerations around the decisions any trader needs to make BEFORE jumping blindly into trading – everything from trading style to brokerage account, even to which markets to buy and sell. Honestly, there should be more like this.
Highly recommended.
